Support Services

Rainbow Kitchen offers a wide variety of activities and services throughout the year to enhance the well-being and quality of life for low-income members of our community.

Helping Youth

Rainbow Kitchen is committed to helping the young people in our community towards a better future. We proudly partner with the University of Pittsburgh to bring Strong Women, Strong Girls, a mentoring program for girls in grades 3-5, to our community. Rainbow Kitchen provides structure and supervision for youth fulfilling mandated community service requirements, and offers volunteer opportunities for young people. We work in collaboration with other local organizations to bring summer jobs, special programming, and mentoring opportunities to low-income youth.
