Case Management

Rainbow Kitchen offers short-term and extended Case Management to help clients address specific problems, meet immediate needs, and work to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency.

Rainbow Kitchen responds to 200 requests for help each month, providing direct assistance, referrals, and assistance in accessing resources. We work in collaboration with a wide network of social service agencies to assist with immediate needs related to:

  • Housing
  • Utilities
  • Employment, job training
  • Material needs
  • Drug & alcohol issues
  • Mental health resources
  • Disability/SSI benefits
  • SNAP (food stamps) benefits
  • Medical/dental/vision care
  • Family support

The goal of our Personal Paths extended case management program is to provide ongoing aid to participants as they strive to achieve self-sufficiency. This DHS Self-Sufficiency Program is funded in part by a grant provided by the PA Dept. of Community and Economic Development.
