We are excited about the opportunity to participate in The Pittsburgh Foundation’s upcoming #ONEDAY Critical Needs Alert, which offers a $500,000 matching pool. This one-day online giving event is offered specifically to benefit nonprofit organizations that meet basic needs and support the safety net of essential human services. All contributions made to Rainbow Kitchen through www.PittsburghGives.org/rainbowkitchen on August 9, 2022 will be eligible for a prorated share of the matching pool.

- The PittsburghGives #ONEDAY Critical Needs Alert online giving event will take place on Tuesday, August 9th, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
- Donations may be prescheduled beginning Thursday, August 4th.
- All donations made to Rainbow Kitchen through the Rainbow Kitchen fundraising page during that 16-hour period on August 9th (or prescheduled beginning August 4th) will be eligible for a pro-rated share of The Pittsburgh Foundation’s very generous $500,000 incentive pool.
- Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit card or debit card donations can be accepted through the Pittsburgh Gives website.
- Your contribution is 100% tax deductible. The minimum gift amount is $25. There is no maximum gift amount.
- Please consider saying “yes” to the prompt to add a little more (~ 5%) to your donation to cover the transaction processing fees.
